We will have playdough again the classroom this year. I will have a sign up sheet for parents to sign up with during the Meet and Greet. If you cannot make it and wish to partake, I will send home the list of the available months left. We make the color of playdough to match the month (i.e. red for September, orange for October, etc.) This is completely voluntary and not necessary, but greatly appreciated.

I have included a playdough recipe below. Please feel free to email me ([email protected]) with any questions at all. Thank you so much! :)
Play Dough Recipe
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. salt
6 tsp. cream of tartar
3 c. water
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
Food Coloring
1) Combine dry ingredients in saucepan
2) Blend in water, vegetable oil and food color of your choice
3) Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until dough pulls away from pan. (Will be very hard to stir.)
4) Spread on wax paper to cool and knead into soft ball
5) Store in airtight container
**All ingredients are non-toxic and edible (although not very tasty)
**Please note that if you have another recipe to use that is school friendly (no nuts are involved) you are more than welcome to use that recipe instead.
