Sesame Street~ Little Children, Big Challenges 

Everyday challenges are part of life. Providing your love and support is the most important step in helping children develop the confidence to overcome anything they face. Committee for Children has collaborated with Sesame Workshop to bridge the divide between what children learn in school and what they learn at home with their families. Sesame Street’s Little Children, Big Challenges initiative provides tips and strategies to help adults and children (ages 2 to 5) navigate challenges and build lifelong skills for resilience.

General Resilience ~  
Young children face new challenges at every age and stage. That’s why it’s so important to help them build the skills they need to become resilient. With self-confidence and the ability to express themselves, little ones will be able to handle whatever may come their way and will just keep getting stronger.

 Divorce can be a big challenge for both children and parents.Though times may be difficult, children can emerge feeling loved and supported. You can all grow through these family changes and discover just how strong you really are. You’re not alone. Family, friends, neighbors, and others are there to offer support. Here are some tools to help your child through your divorce.
