Welcome

I
am excited to be the speech
language pathologist for the polliwog, tadpole and minnow classes. I am
one of the two speech language pathologist who cover the LEEP program.
Ironically we both have the same first name and are fondly refered to as
"the Donnas" and because we have the same role it is important to
distinguish us by our last names. Mine is Prokos. Our LEEP program has
both a morning and an afternoon session. Your child potentially could
have had one of us for one of their years at LEEP and then due to
classroom placement, have the "other" Donna for their next school year.
I service preschool and pre-kindergarten children with communication
delays. These may involve articulation which is how a child produces
their speech sounds, language comprehension, and expressive language. My
speech office is Room 123 and I am there from Monday through Friday
from 8:30 to 3:30.
You
can call me at 437-5855 at extension 7121 to leave a message on my voice
mail and I will return your call as soon as possible. You can also send
me an email at dprokos@londonderry.org The best time to reach me is before programming from 8:15 to 8:30 and after programming from 3:00 to 3:20. Thank you.
I am certified as a speech
and language pathologist through the Allied Health Department of the
state of New Hampshire. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence
from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I am
proud and honored to be part of the wonderful special education team at
the Londonderry Early Education Program.
